Client Welcome Packet

Build the way
you live.

Welcome to Matrix Construction Group. This packet walks you through our full process — from your first conversation through design selections and into your finished space.

Welcome

Glad You're Here

At Matrix Construction Group, we believe a great renovation begins long before the first nail is driven. It begins with listening — to how you move through your home, what matters to your family, and where your vision wants to take you.

From the preliminary meeting through design selections and into construction, our process is built to keep you informed, comfortable, and excited at every stage. This packet is your guide to what that journey looks like.

Three clear phases. One unified team. No surprises.

Our Process

How We Work Together

Phase 01
Preliminary Client Meeting

We sit down to understand your project — goals, space, timeline, and budget. This is a discovery conversation. We listen first, then plan.

Phase 02
Bid Submission

We prepare a detailed, project-specific bid based on everything we've learned. Once you're confident and sign off, we move to the next phase.

Phase 03
Design Consultation

Your bid is accepted — now the exciting part begins. We schedule your design consultation to start selections and design the way you live.

Phase 04
Build & Installation

Our crew gets to work. You have a single point of contact, regular updates, and a team that treats your home with the same care as their own.

Design Consultation

Where Your Vision Takes Shape

The design consultation is your dedicated session with our team to begin making the selections that will define your finished space. We translate your preferences into a cohesive, fully resolved plan — materials, finishes, cabinetry, fixtures, and more.

Come with inspiration images, paint chips, or spaces you love. We bring the expertise to help you make confident, lasting decisions.

  • Cabinet door profiles, finishes & hardware
  • Countertop materials and edge profiles
  • Flooring, tile, and backsplash selections
  • Fixture styles and plumbing finishes
  • Paint colors and trim details
  • Lighting layouts and fixture options
  • Layout adjustments and spatial planning
Design the way you live.

This session isn't about picking from a catalog. It's about understanding how your household actually functions and building a space that works harder for you every day. We guide every choice with honest recommendations, real samples, and a clear eye on your budget.

What to Bring

Inspiration images, rooms you love, even things you hate — all of it helps. The clearer your taste, the faster and more confidently we make selections together. Pinterest boards, magazine clippings, paint chips: all welcome.

Cabinetry — Construction Quality

Built to Last.
Built to Impress.

Every cabinet we install is built with framed construction — the American standard — featuring a solid hardwood face frame for superior sturdiness. These are cabinets engineered to handle daily life for decades.

Cabinet construction diagram
1
UV Coated Natural Plywood Interior

Resists warping and moisture. Hardened finish keeps interiors clean for years.

2
5 Piece Door Construction

Mortise and tenon joinery for a furniture-grade, solid feel on every door.

3
6-Way Adjustable European Hinge

Concealed soft-close hinges. Fully adjustable for a perfect door alignment every time.

4
5 Piece Drawer Front

Matching construction to the doors — consistent quality from top to bottom.

5
5/8" Dovetail Drawer Box

Gold standard for durability — dovetail joints distribute stress so drawers stay tight for a lifetime.

6
¾" × 1¾" Hardwood Face Frame

Adds structural rigidity and a clean, furniture-grade appearance at every opening.

7
Full Extension Soft-Close Drawer Glides

Undermounted for a clean look. Full extension gives access to every inch of storage.

8
¾" Plywood Shelf

Front edge banding for a finished look. Solid plywood won't sag under load.

9
½" Plywood Full Height Back Panel

Structural rigidity throughout. No shortcuts at the back of the box.

10
½" Plywood Box — UV Coated Exterior

Matching exterior finish, UV sealed. Looks as good on the outside as it performs on the inside.
